| We got it! This shot, taken from my driveway, is really amazing. Most amatures did not even see the comet. We not only saw it, but captured the path and impact on video tape. Using Mike Lanska's 12" LX200, his Stella Cam II, the Sky and a Canon Optura 100, we filmed it and captured images like this one. Together we did what few were able to do on this historic event. | A simple series of 1 min lum imgages of the comet. This after fighting equipment issues and an uncooperative sky. Great shot though. February 27, 2009, 2100-2200 |
| This shot is unusual for me and tough to capture. I actually tracked the comet and captured the true color. See the green everyone spoke about? Very cool huh? February 27, 2009, 2100-2200 |
